FATAL TRAFFIC ACCIDENT IN SMITH COUNTY/INJURY ACCIDENT IN LINCOLN COUNTY 4-15-13

A ONE VEHICLE ACCIDENT NEAR KENSINGTON HAS CLAIMED THE LIFE OF ONE TEENAGER AND LEFT THREE OTHERS INJURED.......

 

ACCORDING TO THE KANSAS HIGHWAY PATROL...A 2005 CHEVY SILVERADO PICKUP DRIVEN BY 16 YEAR OLD ETHAN LEVI SARR OF KENSINGTON.KANSAS

WAS WESTBOUND ON A COUNTRY ROAD ABOUT A MILE NORTH OF KENSINGTON MONDAY AFTERNOON...THE CALL CAME IN AT 3;38 PM....THE PICKUP

ENTERED THE NORTH DITCH WITH THE PASSSENGER SIDE TIRES...THE PICKUP LOST CONTROL AND ROLLED MULTIPLE TIMES...IT CAME TO REST ON THE

DRIVERS SIDE FACING EAST IN THE SOUTH SIDE DITCH...BOTH THE DRIVER AND THE RIGHT FRONT SEAT PASSENGER WERE EJECTED FROM THE CAB OF THE

TRUCK.  THE 2 SUBJECTS RIDING IN THE BED OF THE TRUCK WERE ALSO EJECTED.

 

KILLED IN THE CRASH WAS 16 YEAR OLD RILEY GORDON RENEBERG OF KENSINGTON.  THE DRIVER 16 YEAR OLD ETHAN LEVI SARR OF KENSINGTON WAS TAKEN

TO A HOSPITAL IN KEARNEY,NEBRASKA.  FIFTEEN YEAR OLD MIUCHAEL ADAM WAGENBLAST OF ATHOL AND 16 YEAR OLD LOGAN JAMES MILLER OF KENSINGTON

WERE BOTH TAKEN TO SMITH COUNTY HOSPITAL IN SMITH CENTER.  ACCORDIJNG TO THE KANSAS HIGHWAY PATROL...NEITHER THE DRIVER OR PASSENGERS

WERE WEARING SEAT BELTS.

 

........ALSO FROM THE KANSAS HIGHWAY PATROL... A ONE VEHICLE INJURY ACCIDENT ON K-18 YESTERDAY ABOUT 14 MILES WEST OF LINCOLN AROUND

10;24 YESTERDAY MORNING ABOUT 14 MILES WEST OF LINCOLN,KANSAS...A 2005 DODGE DRIVEN BY 31 YEAR OLD JAMES D. CLUVER OF BELLEVILLE

WAS TRAVELING WEST ON K18 WHEN HE TRIED TO RETRIEVE AN ITEM FROM THE FLOOR CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO LOSE CONTROL AND ENTER THE

SOUTH DITCH WHERE THE VEHICLE ROLLED.  KAMES D. CLUVER WAS TAKEN TO LINCOLN COUNTY HOSPITAL.  KLUVER WAS NOT WEARING A SEAT BELT.
