Marjorie J. Armitage, Age 88

Marjorie J. Armitage, 88, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at the Smith Country Long Term Care, Smith Center, KS.  Marjorie was born May 18, 1926 in Kirwin, KS, the daughter of James and Minnie (McDermitt) Wisehart.  On August 22, 1954 she married Harvey R. Armitage in Smith Center, KS. To this union, they were blessed with two children, Terry and Andrea Jean. Marjorie had been a school teacher.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Andrea Jean Henderson.  Marjorie is survived by her loving husband Harvey of Smith Center; a son, Terry Armitage of Boulder, CO; a sister, Verline Lewis of Wichita, KS; two granddaughters and fourn great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 9, 2015 at All Faiths Funeral Chapel, Smith Center, KS, with Pastor Gred Hubbard presiding.  Visitation will be Friday, January 9, 2015 from 8:00 am until service time at the chapel. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg, KS.  Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association of Central and Western Kansas in care of the funeral chapel. www.allfaithsfuneralchapel.com
