Sam Wagner, Age 80

Sam R. Wagner, age 80, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015 at the Smith County Long Term Care in Smith Center, KS. He was born January 29, 1934 in Beloit, KS to Oral and Mary (Amis) Wagner. He was a pharmacist.
Survivors include his wife Gyra of Harlan, KS; son John of Leon, KS; daughter Mary (Gary) Banwart of Lawrence, KS; a brother Paul (Sharon) of Edward, CO and 2 grandchildren.
Celebration of life services will be at 10:30 AM Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the Simmons-Rentschler Mortuary.
Burial will follow in the Hammond Cemetery, rural Harlan, KS.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday, January 30, 2015 at the mortuary.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be given to the Samuel R. Wagner Memorial Fund and can be sent in care of the mortuary.
