Maryln L. Collins, Age 80

Maryln L. Collins, Concordia resident, age 80, entered into rest on January 29, 2015 at her residence.

She was born August 7, 1934 in Concordia, Kansas to Franklin E. and Wilma L. (Goering) Day.

Maryln married Bobby Collins on April 6, 1957 in Petaluma, California. He preceded her in death on March 5, 1988.

Maryln graduated from Clyde High School in 1952. She attended Emporia State University.

She served in the United States Air Force. Maryln was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Clyde Senior Citizen Center. She also loved Animals.

Survivors include her three children, daughter, Gladys Collins, Concordia; David Collins, Topeka, KS; Richard Collins (Angie), Springfield, MO.; Brother, Marvin Day (Wanda), Mt. Pleasant, Iowa; 3 Grandchildren

She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 10:30 a.m., with family greeting friends on Monday, February 2, 2015 at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Monday, February 2, 2015 at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia with the Rev. Jeff Nielsen presiding. Burial will follow at the Pleasant View Cemetery, rural Ames, Kansas
