Edward Forsberg, Age 96

Edward H. Forsberg of Scandia, Kansas, age 96, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Belleville, KS.  He was born May 24, 1918 at rural Scandia, KS., the son of John E. Forsberg and Edith (Sandell) Forsberg.  He was united in marriage to Lenna Mae Fischer on May 12, 1944
He farmed all of his life in Republic County.  He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Edith Forsberg, one sister, Helen Baker, one niece, Susan Baker.  He is survived by his wife, Lenna Mae Forsberg of Scandia, KS., one son, Kenneth (Tracy) Forsberg of McPherson, KS.
two daughters, Janice (Paul) Albertson of Wichita, KS., Denise Strait of Scandia, KS., nine grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Two PM, Tuesday, February 24, 2015, Amana Lutheran Church, Scandia, KS.  Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Scandia, KS.  Memorials may be given to Amana Lutheran Church, Scandia, KS.  Friends may call on Sunday from 1 PM to 9 PM, Monday from 9 AM to 9 PM at Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, Scandia, KS.  Online condolences and information at www.bachelor-surber.com.
