Doris Mitchell, Age 67

Doris Margot Mitchell of Fairbury, NE the daughter of Ralph and Lieselotta (Bender) DeWald Jr. was born March 21, 1947 in Heidelberg, Germany. She departed this life Sunday February 22, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Regional Medical Center in Lincoln, NE at the age of 67 years.

In July of 1966 Doris was united in marriage to Gary Mitchell at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tobias, NE. This union was blessed with the birth of three children.

She is preceded in death by her father Ralph DeWald, Jr., two daughters; Lara Lea and Cara Lynn Mitchell, brother James DeWald, and one sister Carol Boley.

She is survived by her son Andy and wife Jennifer of Granite Falls, WA, brothers; Dennis and wife Pat of Omaha, Gary and wife Pat of Lincoln, Joe and wife Traci of Simsonville,South Carolina, and Pete and wife Deb of Raymond, NE, five sisters; Linda Throckmorton and husband Thomas of Seneca,South Carolina, Mary Mau and husband Terry of Alexandria, Karlene Rentschler and husband Mardy of Omaha, NE, Patsy Hack of Laredo, TX, Lore Elgert of Lincoln, NE, two grandchildren Jaxon and Kirci Mitchell, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be Thursday February 26, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hebron, NE at 11 AM. Officiant will be Father Rudy Oborny. No visitation cremation, rosary service will be Wednesday, February 25 at 7PM at Hebron Memorial Chapel, memorials in care of the family, condolences may be left at www.krollfh.com , inurnment will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Alexandria, NE Thursday at 2 PM. Hebron Memorial Funeral Home of Hebron, NE is in charge of arrangements.
