Pamela Hudson, Age 53

Pamela Sue Hudson, 53, passed away on February 24, 2015, at Smith County Hospital in Smith Center after a hard fought battle with cancer. Pam was born on May 16, 1961, in Hill City to Francis and Marie (Lively) Garrison. On September 22, 1979, she married Jerry Hudson. Jerry brought 2 sons to the marriage, Dustin and Jared. Pam and Jerry had three more children: Chandra, Josh and Jaydee.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Jerry, of the home. Children: Dustin of Ellis; Jared and his wife, Stacey of New Windsor, MD; Josh and his wife, Amanda of Kensington; daughters: Chandra and her husband Brandon Pfeifer of Ellis and Jaydee and Kayle of Kensington. 10 grandchildren: Blake, Chase, Trey, Lane, Abbey, Logan, Konnor, Luke, Kylee and Kayden. She is also survived by her mother, Marie; Sister Pat and her husband Larry; Brothers Terry, Jerry and his wife Dee and Roger and his wife Kim. Sister-in-laws Roxie Hudson, Sandy Hudson, Karen Jorgensen and Linda Manning. Along with numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Francis; in-laws Robert (Dutch) & Mildred (Mid) Hudson and brother-in-laws, Dean and "Fuzzy" Hudson.

A Celebration of her Life will be on Monday, March 2, 2015 at 11:00 am at 1st St. John Lutheran Church in Kensington, KS with Pastor Dave Hutson officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be given to the Pam Hudson Memorial Fund and can be sent in the care of Simmons-Rentschler Mortuary.
