Lloyd Libal, Age 83

Lloyd C. Libal passed away on Sunday March 1, 2015 at the Osborne Co. Memorial Hospital at the age of 83. He was born in rural Luray, Kansas, not far from where he lives now, to Charles & Delpha F. (Hendrixson) Libal on October 15, 1931. Lloyd grew up on the farm with his 3 siblings and attended school in the Luray area. After high school Lloyd served 3 yrs. in the U. S. Navy in the Korean War. He then came back home to farm and raise cattle. He married Ella Sita and to this union three children were born. Lloyd loved the farm, but he could be found helping out at many auctions. He developed his love of antiques and collecting from those auctions. Lloyd is preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters. He is survived by his loving wife Ella of the home, sons Bruce Libal of Luray, Ks. and Les Libal of Hays, Ks.; daughter Denise Mravinec of Russell, Ks. and his brother Dana Libal of Luray, Ks. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday March 5, 2015 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Rodrick & Minear Funeral Chapel in Luray, KS. Funeral service will be Friday, March 6, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Luray United Methodist Church, Luray, KS. Burial will be in Luray Cemetery, Luray, KS.
