Ilene Reece, Age 90

Ilene Maxine Dallen Cote-Reece, age 90, passed away after a short illness Feb, 14 2015 in Bullhead City, AZ. She was born in Mitlonvale, KS on October 11, 1924, the only daughter of Laura (Bonaly) Dallen and Leon Dallen.

She had two older brothers Vern, of Concordia ,Ks and Earl who preceded her in death. She married Alcid "Jack" Cote on November 17, 1942 and he preceded her in death in 1979. They had two sons from this union, Dennis and Kathy Cote of Wamego, Gary Cote of Manhattan; her four grandchildren, John of Wamego; Thurman and Dawn of Lawrence; Christina and Dean Hindman of Sherwood, OR & Angela Meyer of Akron, OH; great grandchildren, Logan and Jake of Akron & Liam and Cam of Sherwood.

She later Married Ralph Reece on April 26, 1986, he preceded her in death on March 20, 2014, He had 7 children; Paul of Ladson SC; Marion of Palm Bay, FL; Anthony of Gilbert, AZ; Rebecca of Laughlin, NV; Lee of Anaheim, CA; Terry of Atascaduo, CA; Darlene of Lompoc, CA; along with multiple grandchildren.

She worked for several years at Loma Linda hospital. After retirement they moved to Concordia, KS. She enjoyed visiting with all of her family and friends in Concordia. They then moved to Bullhead City, AZ, and enjoyed their friends & family, playing bingo, and loved traveling.

Memorial services are 10 am, Sat., March 14, 2015 be at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Concordia with Rev. Jim Dallen officiating. Burial of the cremains will follow at St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery, Miltonvale, KS. Friends may sign the register book from 9 am to 9 pm and a Rosary will be Friday at 8 pm at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. The family suggests memorials to the Donor's Choice in care of the funeral home.
