Lorena Alexander, Age 93

Lorena M. Alexander, age 93, passed away, March 20, 2015 at Dillon Living Center, Hutchinson, KS. She was born on Feb. 26, 1922 in Miltonvale, KS to George D. & Mary M. (Dallen) Gunter. She married Kenneth A. Alexander on June 18, 1941 in Aurora, KS. He preceded her on Aug. 4, 2008.

She is survived by her sons; Kenneth (Judy), Montpelier, ID; Robert (Gladys), Houston, TX; Edmond (Mary Ellen), Hutchinson, KS.; Dennis (Terri), Newton, KS.; daughters; Marie Deutsch (Russ), Hartsburg, MO; Sharon Ratzlaff (Loyd), Inman, KS.; Yvonne Hein (Alan), Augusta, KS.; & Denise Finan (Frank), Blaine, KS.; 24 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth & her parents, 2 brothers, George & Edmond Gunter.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Rev. Brian Lager officiating. Burial will follow at St. Concordia Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a vigil service at 7:00 p.m., Monday, March 23, 2015 all at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. Family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday evening.
