Charles Simpson, Age 74

Charles G. Simpson or "Charlie" as he was known, died Saturday March 28, 2015 at the Mitchell County Hospital in Beloit, Ks. Charlie was born on April 29, 1940 in Portis, Ks. to Walter C. & Margaret A. (Eastman) Simpson. He attended school in Osborne and graduated from Osborne High School. He wanted to be an Auctioneer but circumstances led to a fulfilling life as a cattleman and rancher raising his beloved "black" Angus cattle. Charlie dearly loved attending and working cattle sales and auctions. He also loved raising and riding horses. A true cattleman. Charlie is survived by his beloved wife Phyllis of the home and his brother John of Osborne, Ks.
