First place winner in the 2013 Photography Contest, “Faces of Kansas” category, was Lori May from Hunter, Kansas.

Farmway Co-op, Inc. invites photographers from across Kansas to enter the 2015 Farmway Photography Contest.

"Farmway has an incredible legacy in Kansas agriculture, and as we celebrate 104 years, we are excited about how this contest helps us share our passion for it with people across the state," said Mallory Wittstruck, Farmway communications director. "We see this as an opportunity for communities to connect and explore each other's visions of our agricultural industry."

Eligible contestants can visit www.farmwaycoop.com for complete details on how to submit photographs in one or both of the categories: Kansas Agriculture and Farmway Century Club. There is a 10 maximum entry for each category per entrant. Entries must be in digital format and submitted electronically. The contest, which is now open, ends Friday, September 18, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. Photos must be taken within the 2015 calendar year.

Photos will be judged on quality, creativity and relevance to each category. Farmway will utilize different segments of the cooperative's employee team to judge the photos. First place in each category will receive a $100 gift card. Second place in each category will receive a $50 gift card. A "People's Choice Award" will be decided upon points earned through the Farmway Facebook page. The winners will be announced during October Co-op Month festivities.

"This is a fun competition that helps strengthen the connection between people and the agricultural industry, and we look forward to seeing the submissions from across the state," said Wittstruck.
