Adelia Falk, Age 77

Adelia "Dee" (Hay) Falk, the daughter of Hamilton Lewis Eakins and Mabel (Burch) Eakins, was born April 19, 1937 at Concordia, KS and passed away on April 18, 2015 at Salina Regional Health Center, Salina, KS at the age of 77 years, 11 months, and 29 days.
Dee was the youngest of five children. She attended and graduated from the Concordia School System.
Dee was united in marriage to Jerry Dean Hay and to this union three sons were born: Landy, Jody, and Scott. She later was united in marriage to Lee Ray Falk on June 8, 1996.
She was active in the Concordia VFW Auxiliary # 588, the Scandia American Legion Auxiliary, and the Women's Bowling Association. Among other jobs, she had been the Clerk of Republic County District Court and an employee at Scott's Specialties.
Dee was preceded in death by her brothers, Arthur and Tom Eakins, son Jody Hay; brother-in-laws, Leon Falk, Max Pennabaker, and Willis Payton, and sister-in-law, Sandra Hanson.
She is survived by her husband, Lee Ray Falk of the home, Belleville, KS; two sons, Landy (Beverly) Hay of Belleville, KS and Scott Hay of Scandia, KS; one sister, Bessie Payton of Concordia, KS and one brother John (Joyce) Eakins of Clyde, KS; and 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; other relatives, and many friends.
Cremation was selected and Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the Ada Lutheran Church, rural Courtland, KS with Pastor Thomas Kamprath, officiating.
Inurnment will be at the Ada Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Friends may sign the register book from One PM until Nine PM on Friday at the Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, Belleville, KS where the family will greet friends from 6PM until 8PM on Friday.
