Faye E. Homolka-Rizek, Topeka, formerly of Belleville, KS, age 97, passed away April 23, 2015. She was born Feb. 5, 1918 at Belleville, Ks, the daughter of Peter and Minnie ( Hall) Wineinger. She attended Pleasant View, Dist. #2 Elementary School and graduated from Belleville High School in 1936. She married Charles Homolka August 9, 1938 at Belleville. He died April 15, 1978. She married Al Rizek May 23, 1981. He died May 20, 1994.
Survivors include 2 sons: Kay (Jean) Homolka of Eudora, KS, and Raymond (Jo) Homolka of Farmington, NM; a daughter Beverly (Gerald) Ronnebaum of Topeka, KS; 6 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren; a step-daughter, Kayleen(Dick) Herrema of Goodyear, AZ; a step-son Roger (Kathy) Rizek of Belleville, KS; 5 step-grandchildren and 5 step-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Velma Bobo of Harlingen, TX.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Homolka; 2 brothers, Ray and Glenn Wineinger; and a sister, Edna Freeman.
Vigil/ Rosary service at 7:00 pm, Monday April 27 at Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, Belleville, KS. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 on Tues. April 28, St. George's Catholic Church in Munden, KS., conducted by Father Brian Lager. Interment will be at St. George's Catholic Cemetery, rural Munden, KS. Visitation will be held 1 PM to 9 PM Sunday, 9 AM to 9 PM Monday with the family receiving friends from 6 PM to 7 PM Monday
