Vera Frost, Age 93

Vera A. Frost, 93, of Esbon, passed away Monday, May 4, 2015. She was born Aug. 1, 1921, in the Westbranch community to John Harold and Sarah Adilla (Fenner) Phillips. She was a devoted farm wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

She is survived by her son, John (Lila) Frost, of Formoso; son-in-law, Larry Welch, of Esbon; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: husband, Paul Abraham Frost; daughter, Vyonda Welch; sisters, Pauline Phillips and Mable Marihugh; and brother, Joseph Chester Phillips.

Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 9, at First United Methodist Church, Esbon. Burial: Esbon Cemetery. Visitation: 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday, May 8, with family receiving friends from 6-8, at Melby Mortuary, Mankato.
