Gino Brichalli, Age 59

Gino E. Brichalli, age 59, died May 24, 2015 at Mt. Joseph Senior Village, Concordia, KS. He was born on Sept. 30, 1955 in Concordia, KS to Bartolemeo (Meo) & Gladys M. (LaBarge) Brichalli.

He graduated from Concordia High School in 1974 and was a lifelong Concordia resident. He married Connie S. Nobert on June 7, 1975 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia. He worked with his family in the Auto Body Repair business before going to work for the Cloud County Highway Dept. where he worked on the bridge crew and as a heavy equipment operator for the last 35 years. Gino was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and a 3rd degree Knights of Columbus member. Gino loved auto racing, working on cars and helping his friends work on their race cars. Gino was an avid gardener and enjoyed being outside all the time. He always enjoyed holding the children and babies at church. Gino loved his close knit family. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, siblings, and children and playing with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Connie, Concordia; daughters, Amy Drury (Bill), Concordia & Kristina Kindel (Jeff), Aurora; son, Wyatt, Manhattan; sisters, Anita Cyphers, Concordia; Marcia Charbonneau (Bob), K.C., KS; Cynthia Sexson, Ft. Collins, CO; Lisa Brichalli, Concordia; DeNetta Ingram (Tim), Berthoud, CO & Valeria ‘Bobbie' Hill (Phil), Ord, NE; brothers, Mario Brichalli (Vera), Springfield, MO & Dino Brichalli (Julie), Topeka; brother-in-law, Greg Hinson (Alina), Great Bend; sisters-in-law, Judy Pachta (Vince), Belleville & Jane Baxa (Raymond), Cuba & 8 grandchildren, Astoria, Bergun, Acacia, Burke, Brigham and Arbor Kindel & Gracey and Brady Drury.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Regina Hinson; his parents-in-law, Norbert & Elsie Nobert; a niece, Gina Cyphers; a nephew, Mike Pachta; and a great-niece, Kiana Cobb.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. May 28th, 2015 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia with Rev. Brian Lager officiating. Burial will follow at St. Concordia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 pm. with a Vigil service at 6:00 p.m. on May 27th, 2015 all at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.
