Albert Hubert, Age 90

Albert A. Hubert, age 90, died Friday, July 10, 2015 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center, Shawnee Mission, KS. He was born on April 3, 1925 in Vermillion, SD to Joseph & Clarine (LaBarge) Hubert.
He married Alice M. Giroux on July 24, 1946 in Concordia and she preceded him on May 25, 2009. He was an operator for the power plant in Concordia. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, and a 3rd Degree member of Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his son, Ron Hubert (Arlys), Bonner Springs; daughters, Sharon Stallings (Tom), Eudora & Karen Lagerstrom (Bob), Eudora; granddaughters; Amy Hubert; Emily Hubert Espinoza (Oscar); Michelle Stallings; Nicole Turner (Mark); Stephanie Maxwell (Adam) & Ashely Lagerstrom; 5 great grandchildren & a brother, Eudrick Hubert (Barbara), Texas.
He was preceded by his wife, Alice; sons, Richard & Duane Hubert; his parents & sisters, Irene Pierce & Eva Cote.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am, Thurs., July 16, 2015 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia with Rev. Brian Lager officiating and burial following at St. Concordia Cemetery. Visitation is from 9 am to 9 pm with a Vigil service at 6 pm, Wed., followed by Knights of Columbus Rosary, July 15, 2015 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.
