Neva Ernst, Age 90

Neva Ernst was born July 24, 1925 in Courtland, KS to Emerald and Jesse (Hutchinson) Mills. She passed away September 9, 2015 at Jewell County Hospital in Mankato, KS at the age of 90 years young.
Neva was united in marriage to Arnold Ernst on February 9, 1949 at Burr Oak and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Burr Oak.
Neva is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Rex) Flinn of Mankato, KS; son, Curtis (Francine) Ernst of Mankato, KS; daughter-in-law, Jackie (Gordon) Ernst of Mankato, KS; granddaughter, Emily (Brandon) Barkley; grandson, Brett Ernst; granddaughter, Vanessa Ernst; granddaughter, Carissa Ernst; grandson, Wyatt FLinn; grandson, Samuel Flinn; step-grandson, Jeffrey Collison; step-granddaughter, Elizabeth Seyfert; great-granddaughter, Mason Belyea; great-granddaughter, Olivia Barkley.
Neva was preceded in death by her son, Gordon Ernst; husband, Arnold Ernst; father, Emerald Mills; mother, Jesse Mills; great-grandson, Brady.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm on Friday, September 11, 2015 at Melby Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at First United Methodist Church in Burr Oak, Kansas on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 2:00 pm. Pastor Gerry Sharp will officiate. Burial will take part in Mount Hope Cemetery, Mankato, KS.
Memorials may be given to Jewell County Hospital in Mankato or First United Methodist Church, Burr Oak.
