Ronald Frank Elledge, the son of Kenneth Fred and Mary Jo (Nedbal) Elledge, was born on May 26, 1947 in Omaha, Nebraska. He passed away on September 18, 2015 at the Bryan LGH Medical Center East at Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 68 years, 3 months, 23 days. Ron went through the Superior Public School system and graduated from Superior High School with the class of 1965. He then attended Cloud County Community College for one year and transferred to Hastings Technical School in Hastings. He enlisted in the National Guard in Mankato, Kansas and was with the Guard for 19 years. On June 1, 1969 he was united in marriage to Angel Nutzman at the Hope Lutheran Church in Smithfield, Nebraska and to this union was born a daughter Annie. During school he worked for Western Land Roller and then began his career with Lincoln Telephone as a technician in 1969 retiring with Alltel in 2002. He was a former member of the Masonic Lodge, a member of the American Legion, the Elks, and a past Nuckolls County Fair Board Member. Ron enjoyed all aspects of the outdoors, he loved to fish and hunt, canoe and shoot blackpowder. He used to metal detect quite often looking for coins, enjoyed riding and working horses, and for many years taught Hunter Education to the youth of the area. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, two infant sisters, a nephew Tim Elledge , great nephew Nathan Lemke and mother-in-law Lillian Nutzman. He is survived by his wife Angel of Superior, daughter Annie Elledge and granddaughter Cambrie Elledge both of Lincoln, Nebraska. One brother, Stan Elledge and wife Kay of Superior, Nebraska, father-in-law Omar Nutzman of Bertrand, Nebraska, sister-in-laws, Rhea Crane of North Dakota and Rhonda Bennett of Bertrand, Nebraska along with many nieces and nephews and many, many friends.
