Michael Simons, Age 53

Michael Dean Simons, age 53, Clifton resident, went to be with his heavenly father, on October 7, 2015 at the Clay Center Medical Center. He was born on October 28, 1961 to Billy Ray and Glennis Kay (Sterrett) Simons.

He was a 1981 graduate of Concordia High School. Michael was a mail carrier for a private contractor for several years.

He married Julie Brunell on September 16, 2004 in Concordia.

Survivors: Wife, Julie Simons, Clifton; Mother, Glennis Fosdick (Darrell), Clyde; 2 brothers, David Simons (Heidi), Meriden; William Simons, Clyde, KS.; 1 sister, Sabrina May, Agenda, Brother-in-law, Paul Zach; several nieces and nephews; father and mother-in-law, Eugene and Connie Brunell, Clifton.

He was preceded in death by his father Billy, Sister, Kay Zach and grandparents.

Cremation has taken place and a graveside memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 10, 2015 at the Vining Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be given to Michael Simons memorial fund in care of Chaput Mortuary, Clyde.
