Gloria Fees, Age 80

Gloria Jean "Jeannie" Fees, age 80, entered into rest on November 19, 2015 at the Sunset Nursing Home in Concordia. She was born on July 31, 1935 in Aurora, Kansas to Paul A. and Viola L. (Mason) Collins.

She married Ted Carlton and they later divorced. Gloria then married Paul Fees in Jamestown, Kansas and he preceded her in death in 1995.

Gloria was a Dietary Aide for 29 years at Sunset Nursing Home in Concordia. She enjoyed Bingo, cards, car races, county fairs and most of all spending time with her family.

She is survived by her 2 sons, Raymond Fees, Scandia; David Fees, Concordia; Daughter, Sheila Persinger (Faylon), Belleville; 2 sisters, Caldonia Motes, Concordia; Darlene Thomas, Belleville; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Pam Persinger, 4 brothers, 4 sisters.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, November 22, 2015 with family receiving friends from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. all at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.

Graveside Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 23, 2015 at the Union Valley Cemetery with Rev. Dean Frazier officiating.

Burial will be in the Union Valley Cemetery, Rural Belleville, Kansas.
