Carol Eller, Age 71

Carol J. Eller, 71, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Smith County Long Term Care, Smith Center, KS.

She was born April 29, 1944 in Athol, KS, the daughter of Emil Henry Fredrick and Esther Minnie Ella (Hermanns) Bose. She married Glen A. Eller on May 7, 1987 in Smith Center, KS.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband Glen on March 6, 2000, parents and a sister Sharon Bell.

She is survived by one son, Marty (Debbie) Kingsbury of Smith Center; two daughters, Tawnya (Scott) Fisher of Overland Park, Tayra (Brad) Shanley of Grand Junction, CO; brother-in-law, Roy Dean Bell of Smith Center; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 16, 2016 at American Lutheran Church, Smith Center, KS, with pastors Lorna Paulus and Lance McDowell officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2016 at All Faiths Funeral Chapel, Smith Center and 9:00 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church. Burial will be in the Cedar Cemetery, Cedar, KS. Memorials may be given to the American Lutheran Church and/or Smith County Memorial Hospital in care of the funeral chapel.
