Mark Simon, Age 73

Mark L. Simon, 73 years old, of Osborne, KS died on Wed., April 13 at his home after a long battle against cancer. Mark was born on June 22, 1942 in Davenport, Oklahoma to Celestian "Bud" and Margaret "Maggie" (Stockwell) Simon. Mark was one of 11 children. He had 6 brothers and 4 sisters.

Mark graduated from high school & he has lived Osborne since the age of 18. Mark met and married Linda Winder and built their family from there. To this union were 4 children; Kenneth, Jeff, Brenda and Mellissa.

Mark has worked for Pete Bohm as a Farm Supervisor, R & L Feeders and Osborne County.

Mark is survived by his wife, Linda of the home; daughters: Brenda (Troy) Kingsbury of Smith Center, KS; Mellissa (Darren) Holloway of Russell, KS; sons: Kenny (Mandy) Simon of Osborne; Jeff Simon of Russell, KS; sisters: Mary Ann Mathis of Okemah, OK; Laura (Perry) Beck of Granite Bay, CA; Therese (Ray) Norman of Mustang, OK; brothers: Paul (Ann) Simon of Prague, OK; Robert (Barbara) Simon of Chandler, OK; Joe (Ruth) Simon of Carney, OK; 9 grandchildren & 7 great-grandchildren. Mark is preceded in death by his parents; sister: Edna Baldwin; brothers: Henry, Marvin & Mike.
