Clara Goodrich, Age 97

Clara M. Goodrich, the daughter of John B. West and Alice (Coulter) West, was born June 22, 1918 in rural Narka, KS and passed away on April 15, 2016 at the Belleville Health Care Center, Belleville, KS at the age of 97 years, 9 months, and 23 days.
Clara grew up in the Haddam, KS area attending the rural public schools.
On November 12, 1950 she was united in marriage to Charles F. "Buss" Goodrich.
The couple made their home in Wichita, KS for many years where they both worked for Beechcraft Manufacturing until their retirement, moving back to Haddam on July 1, 1980.
Clara was a member of the United Methodist Church of Haddam, KS.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Alice West, her husband Charles "Buss" Goodrich on February 15, 1998, five brothers: Floyd, Lloyd, Chester, Joe, and Ben and 5 sisters: Mildred Koch, Olive Stephens, Margaret Kirkpatrick, Vera Jennings, and Ruth Burnham.
Clara is survived by one sister Ruby Harding of Lolo, Montana; nieces and nephews; sister-in-laws, Lorene Goodrich and Ella West both of Belleville, KS, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the Bachelor-Surber Memorial Chapel, Belleville, KS, with Pastor Randy Jellison-Knock, officiating.
Interment will be at the Haddam Cemetery, Haddam, KS.
Visitation will be from 9 AM until 9 PM on Friday, April 22, 2016 and from
9 AM until service time on Saturday at the Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, Belleville, KS.
Memorials are suggested to the United Methodist Church, Haddam, KS.
