Beloit and St Johns Tipton are both 1-0 after wins Friday night....Beloit travelled to Concordia and defeated the Panthers 22-12 despite 231 rushing yards from Concordias Rope Dorman....Beloit took the early lead in the first quarter on a 26 yard pass from Ryan jackson to Zach Meier...the point after was no good...Late in the 2nd quarter....Beloit increaed the lead to 14-0 on a 44 yard touchdown run by Hunter Budke and the 2 point conversion by Caydren Cox....Concordia answered with 42 seconds to go in the 2nd quarter on a 7 yard touch down run by Concordia's Rope Dorman....PAT was no good...Beloit led 14-6 at the half....The 3rd quarter was scoreless....In the 4th quarter....with 9:19 to play Beloit increased the lead to 22 to 6 thanks to an 8 yard Caydren Cox touchdown run...and the 2 point coversion by Hunter Budke....Concordia answered with 6:09 to play on a 28 yard touchdown run by Rope Dorman.....the pat was no good ...so the lead was 22 -12 which would end up the final score.......Hudson Smith earned the H & R Block Block of the Game on a touchdown saving tackle....and Braydon Conn and Zach Meier were named the Orthopedic Sports Health Clinic Co Players of the game....Beloit now 1-0 will host Ellsworth Friday night Sept 9th....Coverage begoins at 6:10pm on KVSV FM105...AM1190KVSV The Mix...kvsvradio.com...TV Cable Channel 12 in Beloit...and Synergy Channels 995 and 997 on Cunningham Cable.
