Ray R. Lingbloom, 82, passed away Monday, December 5, 2016 at his home in Agra, KS.

He was born April 16, 1934 in Elsie, NE, the son of Alfred Theodore and Bessie Lee (Hillis) Lingbloom. He married Shirley Shirk on May 8, 1976 in Smith Center, KS, they recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary.

Ray was a over the road truck driver working for several companies during his career. In the early 90's after the children were grown, Ray and Shirley were able to purchase there own tractor/trailer and enjoyed traveling together until their retirement where they lived in Agra, KS.

He was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Phillipsburg, KS.

Ray is survived by his wife Shirley of Agra; four daughters, Dr. Rachelle Richardson and husband Dr. Jonathon Richardson of Imperial, NE, Cindy Ahler and husband Ron of Scottsbluff, NE, Pam Patella and husband David of Tulsa, OK, Stephanie Breon and husband Kerry of Phillipsburg; a brother, Jack Lingbloom and wife Nancy of Colorado Springs, CO; one sister, Marilee Cargill of Chadron, NE; two daughters-in-law, Marilyn and Lawanda; thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Rick Lingbloom and Dustin Wanner and a brother, Bill Lingbloom.

A private family service will be held at a later date, memorials may be given to the Ray R. Lingbloom memorial fund and can be sent to 555 Southern Ave., Apt. 7, Agra, KS 67621 or in care of the funeral chapel.
