Lila Fern Corman, the daughter of Curtis and Julia Fern (Wilson) Workman, was born on August 31, 1926 in Kansas. She passed away on January 20, 2017 at the BryanLGH Medical Center East at Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 90 years, 4 months, 20 days.

Lila was aHardy High School Graduate, and a member of the Superior First United Methodist Church. On February 9, 1947, in Hardy, Nebraska, she was united in marriage to Ralph Corman. This union of 51 years was blessed with 7 children; Cynthia, John, Cathy, Mary Jane, Richard, Linda Jo, and Tom. The family lived in communities of Beaver City, Nebraska; Beloit, Kansas, Salida and Carbondale, Colorado; they returned to Superior in 1986.

She was an active member of the Methodist Church, and United Methodist Women, American Legion Auxiliary, D.A.R., and was an Avon Sales representative for many years.

Her hobbies included baking, gardening, knitting and crafting.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ralph; infant son, Richard Ralph; daughter, Cathy Neptune and husband Larry; granddaughter Megan Connors; grandson, Eric Durham; sisters, Maxine Templeton and Ruth Hobson.

She is survived by her children, Cynthia and husband, Bernard Newell of Concordia, Kansas; John Corman and wife Barbara of Rochester, New York; Mary Jane O'Connor of Carrollton, Texas; Linda Jo Holden and husband, Bill of Silver Star, Montana, Tom Corman and wife Nancy of Johns Creek, Georgia; 14 grandchildren, Steve (Susan) Durham, Andy (Lisa) Corman, Jessica Corman, Cosandra(Ryan) Monahan, Corie Neptune, Nicholas Neptune, Daniel O'Connor, Rob (Katie) Holden, Marty (Jessica) Holden, Kristin Corman, Rachel Corman, Marat Corman, Brandon (Cassandra) Newell and Damon (Andrea) Newell 8 great grandchildren, Tanner and Zachary Durham, Brandon Neptune, Van Holden, Cee Cee Holden, Denver O'Connor, Hayden Newell and Connor Newell along with many other relatives and friends.
