Warren Bolen, Age 73

Warren "Bo" Bolen, 73, of Jewell, KS died Sunday, March 19, 2017 in Beloit, KS. A veteran of the US Navy, he holds a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star with Valor. anyone that knew Bo could tell you he loved his horses dearly. Bo was born in Newton, KS and he was the son of Dalla and Helen Bolen. He married Dee in 1968 and they had two children.

Bo is survived by his wife Dee, of the home; daughter Taylor of Wichita, KS; son Jeff and wife Kristy and two children, Kaitlin & Tyler of Chesapeake, VA.

Burial will be at a later date in Newton, KS.

Memorial service will be March 24, 2017 at 2 pm at Kleppinger Funeral Home (409 Broadway, Jewell, KS, 66979), which are handling arrangements. Visitation will be Thursday, March 23rd from 2 - 7 pm and family will receive friends from 4 - 6 pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Kansas Humane Society.
