Joshua Schmidt, W1 - #1

Joshua Michael Schmidt, Canton, has been selected for the Division I West Squad. He is a 2017 graduate of Goessel High School and his future plans are undecided. Football statistics and accomplishments include being selected Wheat State League 1st team and All Area 2nd Team with All-State Honorable Mention honors for both quarterback and defensive back. Career stats include 2026 passing yards, 27 TD's and 2000 rushing yards, 29 TD's; 91 solo tackles, 62 assists, 6.5 TFL, 2 sacks, 2 safety, 3 interceptions. Joshua was a state qualifier in the 4x400 relay and was named to the MKL All-Star baseball team. He is a member of his youth group at church. Activities and honors in school include football, basketball, track, choir, musical, band, StuCo and Scholar's bowl. Joshua's parents are Warren ad Sheri Schmidt, Canton.
