Aaron Henke, Tipton, has been selected for the Division II East Squad. He is a 2017 graduate of Tipton Catholic High School and plans to attend Kansas State University and major in Construction Science. Career football statistics and accomplishments include: 300 career tackles, 4 interceptions, 4.2 career yards per carry, 14.3 career yards per reception, 72 all purpose yards/game average, 2,592 career all purpose yards, 36 career touchdowns; Senior year: 123 tackles senior year, 3 fumble recoveries, 2 interceptions; 72 carries for 461 yards, 8 TD's, 48 receptions, 638 yards, 8 TD's. He was selected All State Honorable Mention Topeka Capital Journal, District #4 First team Running back, 2nd Team Linebacker, Kansas Sports.com top 100 Seniors Honorable Mention. St. John's/Tipton was District, Bi-District, Regional Champions, Sub-State Runner-up in 2013; District, Bi-District Runner-Up in 2014; and District, Bi-District Runner-Up in 2016. Honors and accomplishments in other sports include: 2014: IA D2 Basketball State Champions; 2015: IA D2 Basketball State Runner-Up; 2016: IA D2 Basketball State 3rd Place, State Champion Team Sand Greens Golf, State Sand Greens Golf 6th Individual, Regional Individual and Team Champion Sand Greens Golf. Activities and honors outside school include Catholic Youth Organization member, St. Boniface Church Server of the Year, Usher at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Aaron's interests and hobbies include hunting, fishing, golf, basketball, teaching his little brothers about sports, spending time with family and friends. Activities and honors in school include NHS member, High Honor Roll, Class President and Stuco Member 4 years, Teacher's Aide, Americore Scholarship Program participant.
