Tyler Lingg, W2 - #5

Tyler Lingg, Dighton has been selected for the Division II West Side. He is a 2017 graduate of Dighton High School and plans to pursue a degree in criminal justice. Football statistics and accomplishments include: 5,356 yards passing, 80 passing touchdowns, 24 interceptions, 383 completions, 613 attempts, 191 tackles, 17 sacks. In 2013 and 2014 he was selected Honorable Mention All League Quarterback, 2015 2nd Team All League Quarterback, Defensive End and Punter; 2016 All Area Garden City Telegram, 1st Team All League Quarterback and Defensive End, Wichita Eagle 1st Team Defensive Line, Topeka Capital Defensive Line, Sports in Kansas Top 100, K-Preps All sTate Quarterback, Hutchinson News 8 Man Defensive Player of the Year. Dighton was State Runner-Up and League Champion in 2016 and reached the playoffs in 2013. In basketball Tyler was selected 3rd team all league his freshman year, 2nd Team All-State and 1st Team All NWKL his sophomore year, 1st Team All NWKL his junior and senior years. Tyler has attended PSR classes and enjoys riding ATV's, watching sports and hanging out with friends. Activities and honors in school include Class Vice President, High Honor Roll and playing basketball and football. Tyler's parents are Jeff and Shannon Lingg, Dighton.
