Dora Marie Caudy of Geneva, NE the daughter of Harry Lee and Lillian (Enterline) Behmerwohld was born October 30, 1940 in Valparaiso, NE. She departed this life Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Heritage Crossings in Geneva, NE at the age of 76 years. She was baptized at Grace Lutheran Church in Lewellen, NE. Dora grew up in the Lewellen, NE attending school and graduating from Lewellen High School with the class of 1958. She married William (Buck) Caudy on July 27, 1958 at Grace Lutheran Church in Ogallala, NE. This union was blessed with the birth of three children. Dora spent most of her life helping others, working as a housekeeper at the Ogallala Community Hospital in Ogallala, NE and Indian Hills Manor in Ogallala, NE. Dora like doing needle point, knitting making sweaters to give to her family, crossword puzzles, horseback riding, but most of all spending time with her family camping, and always the one to start the camp fire and the last one to see the embers glowing. Dora moved to Hebron in 2014 to live with her son Norman and his wife Virginia enjoying family. Due to failing health she entered Heritage Crossings.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Buck, brother Gary Behmerwohld, and twin sister Lora Broman.

She is survived by two sons; Norman Caudy and wife Virginia of Hebron, NE and Rodney Caudy and wife Regina of Paxton, NE, daughter Vickie Leeper and husband Randy of Ogallala, NE, 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, brother Bill Behmerwohld and wife Susie of Bruning, NE, sisters; Sharleene Stivers and husband Lynn of Callaway, NE, Sherri Trout and husband Paul of Omaha, NE, and Carol Matheison of Geneva, NE, sister-in-law Norma Behmerwohld of DeMoines, IA, brother-in-law Ralph Broman of Geneva, NE.

Following Dora's wishes she was cremated no visitation. Memorial services will be Friday October 27, 2017, at the First Community Church in Hebron, NE at 11:00 AM, Officiant Pastor Steve Speichinger, organist Margaret Miller, congregational hymns "What A Friend We Have In Jesus", "In The Garden" and "Amazing Grace". Condolence may be left at www.krollfh.com , memorials in care of the family. Inurnment will be in the Ogallala Cemetery Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 11AM. Lunch and fellowship will follow at Quality Inn in Ogallala in case of rain the graveside will be at Quality Inn. Kroll Funeral Home of Hebron, NE is in charge of arrangements.
