Larry Yost, Age 82

Larry M. Yost, 82 years old, of Downs, KS passed away Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017 at the Salina Regional Medical Center in Salina, KS. He was born on March 14, 1935 to Albert & Nellie (Rychel) Yost in Portis, KS. Larry graduated from high school and went on for further education obtaining a bachelors degree. He has lived in the Downs area all his life. Larry served in the National Guard. He married Gerry Woodward and to this union 3 children were born. Larry was a hog & grain farmer. He attended the Lighthouse Church of Downs, KS.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Gerry, of the home: daughter: Carrie (Dan) Engler of Downs, KS; sons: Robert (Linda) of Bonner Springs, KS; Brian (Tami) of Salina, KS; sister: Elinor Scott of Hays, KS; 7 grandchildren; host of friends.
