Kirk Leon Hahn, 60

Kirk L. Hahn, 60, of McCook, Neb., and Osborne, Kan., passed away on Friday, August 30, 2019 at Osborne County Memorial Hospital in Osborne, Kan. Kirk was born June 9, 1959 to Clifford E. and Iris (Foster) Hahn in Osborne, Kan. He was one of several children.
Kirk graduated from Osborne High School in 1977. He then went on to college. As a career, Kirk served as a mud engineer which provided travel across the American Mid-West and multiple continents. Kirk loved all outdoor activities including spending time on the farm, hunting, camping and working on classic cars. Kirk also took great pride in his three children and loved to share their successes with and attend their sporting events.
Kirk was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Hahn, in 2017; sister, Cynthia Nelson; brother-in-law, Gerald Nelson; and nephew, Aaron Nelson.
Kirk is survived by his mother, Iris Hahn of Osborne, Kan.; daughter, Andrea (D.J.) West of Shawnee, Kan.; sons, Kacey Hahn of Omaha, Neb., and Kody Hahn of McCook, Neb.; sister, Sheila Ruble (Monty Miller) of Osborne, Kan.; brother, Kraig (Jamie) Hahn of Manhattan, Kan.
Visitation will be 2-8 pm with family present 5:30-7 pm Friday, September 6, at Clark-Gashaw Funeral Chapel, 238 N. 1st St., Osborne, Kan.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am Saturday, September 7, 2019 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 207 N. Elm, Osborne. Father Daryl Olmstead will officiate. Burial will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Osborne.
