Jake Harts, Pratt-Skyline, OL - Jake Harts, Haviland, has been selected to play on the West squad. He is a 2012 graduate of Skyline High School.
Football statistics and honors include 2009: HOPL All Conference Defensive Line; 2010; 1st Team DL Center HOPL and All District; 2011: 1st Team DL and Center HOPL, Unanimous All District.
Honors and accomplishments in other sports include Regional Track and Field, 2008 Little League World Series Baseball Greenville, South Carolina.
Activities and honors include Academic Olympics, Math Relays, Science Olympiads, Robotics, all 4 years.
Jake enjoys hunting, fishing, horses and livestock and paintball.
Activities and honors in school include Student Council, Student Body President, Senior Class President, Honor Roll of Excellence 4 years, National Honor Society, KSU Foundation Plus Academic Scholarship.
He is the son of Larry and Cristy Harts and plans to attend Kansas State University and major in Biological Systems Engineering.

Joe Carter, South Gray, OL - Joe Carter, Montezuma, has been selected to play on the West squad. He is a 2012 graduate of South Gray High School.
His football statistics and accomplishments include: 2009-2010: 1st Team All League Defensive End; 2010-2011: 1st Team All League Defensive End; 2011-2012: 1st TEam All League Offensive Guard and Defensive End, HM Topeka Capital Journal Defensive LIne, HM Wichita Eagle Offensive line and Defensive Line; 2nd Team Garden City Telegram OL & DL, KPREPS 8 Man Division I All- District OL & DL.
IN 2011-12 South Gray had an 11-1 record, was state runner up and tied for 1st in the SPIAA league.
He was a three year letterman in track.
Joe's hobbies include bicycling, weight lifting and 4 wheeling.

Brian Ochs, Quinter, OL - Brian Ochs, Quinter, has been selected to play on the West squad. He is a 2012 graduate of Quinter High School.
Football statistics and honors include 364 career tackles and 48 career sacks. Quinter was 2009 State Football Champions and District Champions in 2008.
Brian was a member of the basketball team that placed 3rd in state.
Activities and honors outside school include Boy Scouts, member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, coached 4th grade boys' basketball and was a baseball umpire. He enjoys fishing and dirt bike.

Lymon enjoys weight lifting, working out and cooking.

Adam Oak, Macksville, TE - Adam Oak, Macksville, has been selected to play on the West squad. He is a 2012 graduate of Macksville High School.
Football statistics and honors include receiving: 135 catches for 2100 yds and 27 TD's; 1310 ids rushing, 20 TDs; 13 interceptions; 240 tackles. He holds the school record in receiving yards and catches, the junior class record in receiving yards and the senior record in yards and catches. He was selected 1st Team End Topeka Capital and Wichita Eagle; 1st Team All Area Hutchinson News; HM Defensive Back Wichita Eagle, Topeka Capital. He was chosen 1st team all district running back, 1st team defensive back, 1st team all league defensive back, 1st team kickoff return specialist and 1st team utility back.
Macksville was sub-state runner up in 2008; regional runner up in 2009; bi-district runner up in 2010 and regional runner up in 2011 with a 10-1 record.

Coulter Craft, South Gray, RB - Coulter Croft, Copeland, has been selected to play on the West squad. He is a 2012 graduate of South Gray High School.
His football statistics and accomplishments include 4,066 yards rushing on 458 carries and 65 touchdowns, 8.8 yds. per carry. He was selected 1st Team All State Hutchinson News, Topeka Capital, Wichita Eagle, and Garden City Telegram and Offensive Player of the Year by the Hutchinson News.
South Gray was District, Bi-District, Regional and Sub-State Champions in 2011-2012 and State Runner up in 2011-2012.
Honors and accomplishments in other sports include 3 three wrestling state qualifier and state track qualifier.
Coulter is a member of 4-H and enjoys roping.

Osborne was MCL 8 Man Champs in 2010 and 2011 with a 10-2 record. In 2010 they placed 3rd in state and in 2011 they were 4th in state.

Damon is a member of Boy Scouts of America, logged 100's of hours of community service, represented North Central Kansa at the 2010 National Scout Jamboree and received the Eagle Scout Award in 2011.

Jared McMillian, Pretty Prairie, DL - Jared McMillian, Hutchinson has been selected to play on the West squad. He is a 2012 graduate of Pretty Prairie High School.
Football statistics and honors include 2011: 2nd Team All League Center and D-Line, All District Defensive End. Pretty Prairie was the 2009 sub-state runner up, 2010 regional runner up and 2011 bi-district runner up. They had a 22 regular season winning streak, winning 26 of the last 27 regular season games.
Jared enjoys hunting and fishing and is a member of the FFA Chapter.
He is the son of Larry and Dee McMillian and plans to attend Fort Hays State University.

Pat Prescott, St. John-Hudson, LB - Patrick Prescott, St. John, has been selected to play on the West squad. He is a 2012 graduate of St. John/Hudson High School.
Football statistics and honors include 220 tackles, 7 fumble recoveries, 4 INT, 318 carries for 2276 yds, 39 rushing TDs, 21 2 point conversions; receiving 50 receptions for 795 yards, 11 receiving TDs. He was selected 1st Team District Linebacker, 1st Team League Linebacker, 2nd Team League Runningback and 2nd Team District Runningback.

Logan Reed, Quinter, LB - Logan Reed, Quinter, has been selected to play on the West squad. He is a 2012 graduate of Quinter High School.
His football statistics and accomplishments include 3,775 career yards, 553 career carries, 53 rushing touchdowns (career), 6.71 yards per carry. Quinter was 2009 8 Man Division I State Champions and 2008 District Champions.
Logan is a member of his church youth group and enjoys hunting, fishing and dirt bikes. He is a member of FFA and Student Council.
His parents are Lee and Connie Reed, Quinter, and he plans to attend Kansas State and major in computer science.

Derek Dean, Little River, LB - Derek Dean, McPherson, has been selected to play on the West squad. He is a 2012 graduate of Little River High School.
His football statistics and accomplishments include 2010-2011: Rushing 197 rushes for 1574 yds., 29 TD's; Tackles: 82 solo tackles, 74 assists, 5 int.; Kicking: 100 kickoffs, 82 touchback; Punting: 32 yd average. In 2010-11 he was selected 1st Team All-League; 2011-2012: All League, K-Preps, All State PUnter, All District runningback, kicker and punter.
Little River had a 13-6 record, placed 2nd in District 8 and was Bid-District Runner up in 2011-12.
Honors and accomplishments in other sports include 1st team all area catcher, 8 HR's, 33 RBI's; scored 29 runs, .532 batting average, .584 on-base percentage.
He enjoys playing disc golf and achieved State Assessment Exemplary score sin Math and Reading.
Derek is the son of Dan and Laura Dean, McPherson and plans to attend Garden City Community College and play football.

Tanner Cooper, Pretty Prairie, DB - Tanner Cooper, Wichita, has been selected to play on the West squad. He is a 2012 graduate of Pretty Prairie High School.

Pretty Prairie was District champs in 2010 and 201, HOPI League Champs, 2010 and 2011; Bi-District Champs 2010, Regional Runner Up 2010 and Bi-District Runner Up 2011.
Honors and accomplishments in other sports include tennis sub-state runner up in 2009 doubles, HOPL League Track Champions in 2010 and 2011.

Tanner is the son of Andy Cooper and Dee Hoeme and plans to attend Dodge City Community College, major in cosmetology and play football.

Benn Kirmer, Central Plains, DB - Benn Kirmer, Claflin, has been selected to play on the West squad. He is a 2012 graduate of Claflin High School.
His football statistics and accomplishments include 2010: selected running back 2nd team CPL, defensive back 2nd teal CPL, All State DB, District #8 MVP; KO return specialist, 2nd team. 2011: 1st Team DB, RB 1st Team, All League Team. In 2011 he had 476 solo tackles, 105 total tackles, 9.5 per game; 9 kickoff returns for 276 ids. Total rushing yards his junior and senior year were 1,551; with 11.24 yards per carry; 141 yards per game; 29 TD's.
Claflin was District, Bi-District and League champion in 2011.
Accomplishments and honors in other sports include State Tennis freshman year (doubles), sophomore years (6th place doubles), junior year (6th place singles). Regional Tennis: freshman year, 4th place doubles; sophomore year, 1st place doubles; junior year, 1st place singles. He was named the Amos Morris All Tournament team in basketball and the Central Prairie League All League Team.
Benn is a member of the Catholic Youth Group and loves to hunt deer (bow), quail, dove and pheasant. He loves his big family-49 first cousins; wake boarding and water skiing and dodge ball.
Honors and activities in school include FFA, FCLA, Letterman's Club, Class Officer, Land Judging/Cattle Judging, Honor Roll, Homecoming Candidate Football and Basketball, Stuco Rep and Stuco Treasurer.
He is the son of Marvin and Bobette Kirmer, Claflin and plans to attend college and play sports.

Ethan Slothower, Osborne, DB - Ethan Slothower, Osborne, has been selected to play on the West squad. He is a 2012 graduate of Osborne High School.
His football statistics and accomplishments include: Honorable Mention Quarterback-2009; 2nd Team Quarterback, 2nd Team Defensive Back, 2010; 1st Team LInebacker, 1st Team Quarterback, 2011; lettered 4 years.
Osborne was league champions and reached the state semi-finals in 2010 and 2011.
Honors and accomplishments in other sports include state track qualifier, 3rd place 4x100, letter in basketball 3 years and track 4 years.
He attended American Legion Boys State of Kansas and enjoys sports, hanging out with friends.

Ethan is the son of David and Linda Slothower and plans to attend Garden City Community College.

Levi Hirsh, Kinsley, TE - Levi Hirsh, Kinsley, has been selected to play on the West squad. He is a 2012 graduate of Kinsley High School.
His football statistics and accomplishments include being named All League Honorable Mention, All League First Team Offense and All League Second Team Defense.
Levi has qualified for the state track meet and is active in St. Nicholas PSR, LCE Youth Group and Cooperative Leadership Trip. His hobbies and interests include sports and hunting.
Activities and honors in school include participating in all sports and Big Brothers and Big Sisters.
Levi's parents are Monte and Bonnie Hirsh, Kinsley. He plans to attend college and play football.

Steve Westrup, South Central, LB - Steven Westrup, Protection, has been selected to play on the West squad. He is a 2012 graduate of South Central High School.
His football statistics and accomplishments include 2011: 2nd Team All League TE,1st Team All League LB, 2nd Team District 5 (Coaches) LB, HM All State LB-Topeka Capital Journal, HM All State LB-Wichita Eagle, All District 5 1st Team LB-Kansas Preps. He carried the ball 21 times for 292 ydsd and 5 TDs, averaging 14 tackles per game.
Activities and honors outside school include Youth Group, attending Boys State at KSU in June of 2011.
Hobbies and interests include shooting with his older brother, Brett; playing with his niece and he loves history.
Activities and honors in school include Stuco President, Stuco VP, Class president 2 years, Honor Society, Football-4 years, Basketball-4 years, Track 1 year, Golf-1 year and Forensics-3 years.
Steven is the son of Scott and Connie Westrup and plans to attend a small Christian College and major in business and youth ministries.

Coaches:
Clint Young, Kiowa County - Clint Young graduated from Skyline High School in 1997. He attended Emporia State University and played football.
Clint was an assistant football coach at Erie High School from the 2002 season through 2004. He was then hired by Greensburg to teach 5th grade and coach JH football, basketball, and track.
He took over the high school program after two seasons as JH football coach. Clint's first year as a head high school coach was the year after the tornado struck Greensburg. His teams have a combined record of 29-23 with a state playoff appearance in 2009 making it to the 2nd round.
Clint is currently employed by Kiowa County Schools, teaching 5th grade, Head football coach, asst. JH track coach. He has been married to wife, Adina, for 10 years and they have two daughters, Halle and Riley.

Jeff Blattner, South Gray - Jeff Blattner graduated from Pawnee Heights High School in 1975 and Kansas State University with a BS in the Fall of 1980. Currently he is teaching K-5 and 9-12 Physical Education at South Gray High School
Jeff coached at South Gray for 3 years with a record of 24-6; Haviland for 22 years, Minneola for 3 years and Winona/Triplains for 3 years. South Gray was State Runner-up last year (2011)
He has also coached the South Gray High School golf team the past three years
Jeff and wife Yolanda Blattner have a daughter Rachelle Blattner who is getting married June 16th - the week after the All-Star game - to Trevor Seibert

Chris Bamberger, Ness City - Chris Bamberger graduated from Jetmore High School in 2004. He attended Kansas State University where he played football for five years. He graduated with a degree in Elementary Education in 2009. He is currently employed at Ness City Elementary School where he teaches 6th grade.
He started his football coaching career at Arkansas City as an assistant coach for one year. Chris was then hired as Ness City's head football coach in 2010 and has been there for two years. In the two seasons, his teams have earned a combined record of 13-7 and two playoff appearances. He also serves as an assistant track coach.
Chris has been married to his wife Lacey for three years and has a 10 month old daughter, Ryann.
