The Girls and boys cross-country runners traveled to Smith Center to participate in the Smith Center Invitational. A total of six schools competed under almost ideal conditions.
In the girls 4K race:
Michaela Pingel was the 5th place medalist in a time of 19:00
Savanna Cox was 11th in 20:25
Aaron Kelley 12th in 20:34
Molly Divel was 19th with a time of 29:32
The boys race results included:
Alex Conn as the 10th place medalist in a time of 19:55
Trent Allen 15th in 20:32
Anthony Nunez 17th in 21:12
Christian Daniels 21st time of 21:56
Dustin Williams 24th with a time of 23:17
The boys team finished in 3rd place behind the meet winners Republic County and runner-up Phillipsburg.
The girls team did not run a complete team.
Next action for Beloit will be at the Republic County Invitational next Thursday.
