Bridal Fair!
Are you getting married in the near future? Do you have products for future brides and grooms? Register to attend or be a vendor at the Beloit Area Chamber of Commerce 2nd Annual Bridal Fair. For vendors, forms are available online or by calling the Chamber office at 738-2717. If you are a bride-to-be, call the Chamber office and pre-register. The forms for the October 7th event have been added to the Chambers' website at www.beloitareachamberofcommerce.com
Completed forms can be e-mailed or mailed directly to the Chamber office for those wishing to reserve a booth at the event.
City Advertising for Community Development Director
The City of Beloit is accepting applications for the position of Community Development Director. This position works under the supervision of the City Administrator and contributes to the overall mission of the City by facilitating, promoting and ensuring community development in order to secure opportunities for community growth, business development, and increase in employment and population county wide.
This position serves as the primary area-wide resource for development issues including housing, retail base retention and expansion, industrial development, tourism, and community development programs and projects.

Membership Verification Forms
Last week you should have received your Membership Verification Forms. I am currently updating the Chamber Membership database to ensure I have the correct information on all members. Please list additional representatives if you would like them to receive communications from the Chamber. Please fill out the forms and either mail them back to the Chamber office or email them to beloitchamber@nckcn.com. All communication will be done through email.

Chamber Logo/Website
The Chamber Board is currently working on a new Chamber logo and website. We hope to be unveiling the new branding of the Chamber by the end of the year. Stay posted!
If you haven't heard, I am Gina Broeckelman, the new Director of the Chamber. My family and I moved here in August from Dodge City, KS. I previously worked at the Dodge City Area Chamber of Commerce for 13 years as the Director of Operations. I hope my experience will bring fresh ideas and a fresh start. I look forward to the challenge of making the Chamber a vital business organization in Beloit and the surrounding area.
