Harold D. Dolezal

Harold D. Dolezal was born April 21, 1915 at Belleville, Kansas and passed away on November 18, 2012 at Belleville Health Care Center, Belleville, Kansas at the age of 97 years, 6 months and 27 days.
Harold served with the United States Army from July 3, 1941 to May 24, 1945 during World War Two, serving in Southern France, Germany,Naples Foggia, Rome Arno, Algeria French Morrocco, Tunisia. He was united in marriage to Velma Hamil on January 6, 1942 and to this union three children were born, Dale, Cheryl, Judy. He farmed in both Republic and Washington County for many years. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Velma Dolezal, one step brother, Richard.
He is survived by one son, Dale Dolezal and his wife Nancy of Downs, KS, two daughters, Cheryl Diederich and her husband John of Greenleaf, KS, Judy Kappel and her husband George of Abilene, KS, 9 grandchildren, Dale Lee Dolezal, Chris Dolezal, Haley Devine, Denise Bargman, Tammy Enneking, Jeff Diederich, Amy Larson, Jeremy McNitt, Justin Wendt, 16 great grandchildren, one step sister, Nadene Stull of Grand Island, Nebr, other relatives and many friends.
Cremation was chosen.
Graveside services will be held Two PM, Saturday, Nov 24, 2012, Belleville Cemetery, Belleville, KS, conducted by, Pastor Mark Imel.
Military Graveside services by Fort Riley Honor Guard.
Inurnment will be made in Belleville Cemetery, Belleville, KS.
Memorials may be given to Family Choice.
