Rosemary Andrews

Rosemary Andrews, the daughter of Joseph Kesl and Rosa Edna (Vacha) Kesl, was born September 29, 1920 at Concordia, KS and passed away on January 3, 2013 at the Republic County Hospital at the age of 92 years, 3 months, and 4 days.
Rosemary grew up in Cuba, KS, attending the local public schools and graduating from Cuba High School in 1939. She attended the Business College at Kansas State University for a year and a half.
On June 28, 1945 at Wichita, KS, she was united in marriage to Alfred Kunc and to this union was born Lawton, Audrey, and Charlotte. The couple made their home east of Munden, KS where they farmed. They moved to Cuba, KS in 1950 and Mr. Kunc preceded her in death on August 24, 1951.
On December 31, 1959 at Cuba, KS, she was united in marriage to Charles S. Andrews. They lived in Cuba, KS and he preceded her in death on Sept. 22, 2005.
Rosemary was a member of the Ladies Aide and the later the Quilters at the Cuba Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husbands: Alfred Kunc and Charles S. Andrews.
Rosemary is survived by one son: Lawton Kunc and wife Beverly of Cuba, KS; two daughters: Audrey Day and husband Nick of Cuba, KS and Charlotte Van Wey and husband Terry of Harveyville, KS; one step-son Charles G. Andrews and wife Mary Kay of Delta Junction, Alaska; 7 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 8 step great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013 at the Bachelor-Surber Memorial Chapel with Pastor Harvey Farnsworth, officiating.
Interment will be at the National Bohemian (Kopsa) Cemetery, rural Cuba,KS.
Visitation will be from One PM until 9PM on Sunday and from 9AM until 9PM on Monday at the Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home.
