John T. Conway, 74, of Osborne, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013. Mr. Conway was born Jan. 27, 1938, in Osborne County, Kan., the son of George Sterling and Gladys Belle (Cadoret) Conway. He was a farmer and stockman.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon (Paschal) Conway, of the home; one daughter, Shelly Roach, of Alton; two sons, John Conway, of Reading, and Chris Conway, of Overland Park; two sisters, Carol Knott, of Salina, and Barbara Koelling, of Paradise; and three brothers, Bill Conway, of Osborne, Pat Conway, of Alton, and Raymond Conway, of Beloit. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, at Clark-Gashaw Chapel, in Osborne.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, at United Christian Church, Osborne.
Interment will be in Osborne Cemetery in Osborne.
Memorials may be made to the church or the Osborne County Memorial Hospital, Osborne.
