Betty Jean Muck, 84, died February 1, 2013. She was born March 13, 1928 in Lebanon, KS to Beaver and Lena (Carpenter) Chase.
She is survived by a son, Dennis of Downs; a daughter, Cheryl, and son-in-law, Lane King of Dallas, TX; two grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul "Jake" in 2001.
A funeral service will be held Monday, February 4, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Christian Church, Downs. There will be a visitation at the Domoney Funeral Home, Sunday, February 3, from 3-5 p.m. Memorials may be given to Solomon Valley Hospice and the Golden Living Center, Downs. Domoney's, 817 Morgan Avenue, Downs, KS is in charge of arrangements.
