Carole Anne Culp of Hebron, NE the daughter of Ralph and Violet(Stanton)Wetherell was born October 2, 1945 in Storm Lake, IA. She departed this life Tuesday February 5, 2013 at St. Elizabeth's Regional Medical Center in Lincoln, NE at the age of 67 years.

Carole grew up in the Storm Lake, IA area and graduated from Storm Lake High School with the class of 1966.

She started working as a cook at 15 years old for a restaurant in Storm Lake.

Carole married Dale E. Culp on November 2, 1967 at the First United Presbyterian Church at Deshler, NE. They moved to Deshler, NE in 1989 and Carole worked as a cook in local restaurants until health issues made her retire.

Carole loved playing cards, reading, watching wrestling, and was a fan of the Nebraska Huskers, and the Iowa Hawkeyes. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Carole is preceded in death by her parents, son Christopher, brothers, Clifford and wife Ruby, Burton and wife Marilyn, Charles, Paul, Dick, Glen and wife Norene Weherell, sisters; Marge Dicks and husband Dale, Phyllis Brown and husband Darold, Darlene Wetherell, and infant Mary Catherine Wetherell, and other deceased relatives.

Carole is survived by her husband Dale, son Jerry, daughters Amy, Janelle, and Trish Culp all of Hebron, NE, brothers Dale Wetherell and wife Rose of Storm Lake, IA, Bill Wetherell and wife Connie of Whiting, IA, Denny Wetherell and wife Faye of Woodbridge, VA, sisters; Berniece Heschke and husband Harold of Carson City, NV, Helen Fredericksen of Cherokee, IA, Sharron Hervey of Newton, IA, Shirley Francis and husband George of Havelock, IA, Lavina Nelson of Des Moines, IA, and sister-in-law Carol Wetherell of Cherokee, IA.

Memorial services will be held Friday, February 8, 2013 at Hebron Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Hebron at 1:30 P.M. No visitation, cremation. Fr. Rudy Oborny is officiating. Honorary casket bearers are Brad Wetherell, Brent Wetherell, Junior Hawkins, Jeff Nelson, Craig Nelson, Jose Bonilla, Jerry Anderson, Lissa Wetherell, Denver Wetherell, and Diane Vorderstrasse. Special recorded hymns are "Amazing Grace", "In The Garden", and "Crying For Me" by Toby Keith. Inurnment at the Belvidere Cemetery in Belvidere, NE.
