Paul Keith Meyer, the son of George R. Meyer and Elinor (Woll) Meyer was born April 9, 1955 at Dumont, NJ and passed away April 14, 2013 at his residence at rural Belleville, KS at the age of 58 years and 5 days.
Paul grew up in Bergenfield, NJ where he attended the local public schools.
Following his schooling, he served with the United States Air Force until his honorable discharge in 1974.
Paul was a truck driver for most of all of his life. On May 25, 1985, he was united in marriage to Jean Kay Bragg and to this union was born: Steven, Matthew, Leah, and Daniel. The couple made their home in Florida for 20 years, moving to Belleville in 2005. Paul worked as an attendant at the Kravemore 81 Truck Stop in Belleville and also was a truck driver for F & A Food Sales in Concordia until he became ill.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Paul is survived by his wife Jean Meyer of Belleville, KS; son: Steven Meyer of Bristol, RI, son: Matthew Meyer of Hebron, NE, daughter: Leah Rivers of Belleville, KS and son: Daniel Meyer of Belleville, KS; 8 grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Cremation was selected and Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the Central Christian Church, Belleville, KS.
Inurnment will be held at a later date in Florida.
Military rites will be conducted by the McConnell Air Force Base Honor Guard, Wichita, KS.
There will be no visitation. Friends may gather to sign the register prior to the services at the Church.
Memorials are suggested to the Meadowlark Hospice.
