Farmway Hosts 102nd Annual Meeting for Owners

This year was not without its challenges brought upon by Mother Nature, but Farmway would like to congratulate all of its members for what has turned into a successful 2012-2013 for your cooperative. Farmway employees, management team and Board of Directors invite members and patrons to the 102nd Farmway Coop, Inc. Annual Meeting.

The 2013 Farmway Annual Meeting will be held Thursday, April 25th, in the Beloit Municipal Building. The meal will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the basement of the Beloit Municipal Building and will be followed by the business portion of the meeting at 7:00 p.m. in the upstairs gymnasium.

The business meeting will include the "State of Farmway Coop Address" by CEO Art Duerksen.

During the business meeting, open positions for the Board of Directors will be filled by election and the annual audit of the accounts of the corporation will be submitted. The meeting will also include a presentation of the business activities of the past year and voting on the Bylaw Amendments and Articles of Incorporation Amendments.

Producer members will be voting on directors. This year's expiring terms include those of Allen Eilert, Beloit, District #1; Darrell Schroeder, Tipton, District #1; Steve Errebo, Lincoln, District #2; Keith Portenier, Jamestown, District #3; and Rick Chaffee, Clay Center, District #4. These gentlemen are eligible for reelection.
Members in attendance for the Annual Meeting will be eligible for door prizes.
