Leo Bob Lahodny

Leo Bob Lahodny, the son of Adolph Lahodny and Rose (Kusy) Lahodny, was born September 11, 1918 on a farm 8 miles southwest of Narka, KS and passed away on April 28, 2013 at the Belleville Health Care Center, Belleville, KS at the age of 94 years, 7 months, and 17 days.
Bob grew up in the Narka, KS area, receiving his education at the Eureka School. He then moved to Clifton, KS and he assisted he father at their gas station. Bob moved to Kansas City, KS where he worked for Kroger Grocery Store and later was a manager for Safeway Grocery. He then worked for many years as an auto body repairman/mechanic in Kansas City. Bob was well known in the Kansas City area for his restoration and auto body work. He retired in 1976 and moved to Belleville, KS.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Adolph and Rose Lahodny, and his brother Orville.
Bob is survived by several cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Private family graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at the Tabor Cemetery, rural Munden, KS with Kathleen Marsicek, officiating.
Interment will follow the graveside services.
Friends may call from 9AM until 9 PM on Tuesday and from 9AM until 3 PM on Wednesday at the Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, Belleville, KS.
