Paul Barientes - Sylvan-Lucas - Paul Barrientes, Lucas, has been selected to play on the West squad. He is a 2013 graduate of Sylvan-Lucas High School.
Football honors include lettering all 4 years of high school; team captain Senior year, All District 1st Team O-Line 2012, Most Improved Freshman Award 2009 (Alma, NE). He had 83 total tackles in 2012, 35 solos, 38 assists, 8 sacks, 2 INT's ; 107 yards receiving and 1 touchdown vs. Rawlins County.
Paul lettered in wrestling in 2011 and 2013 and was a state track qualifier in the discus.
He is a member of the Lucas Rural Fire Department and attends the Lucas Methodist Church.
Paul enjoys playing video games, lifting weights and being active. He has was on the 3.25 honor roll in the 10th and 12th grade.
He is the son of Steve and Allison Geist and Scott Smith and plans to attend college, become a history teacher and football coach.

Jordan Bess - Wilson - Jordan W. Bess, Wilson, has been selected to play on the West squad. He is a 2013 graduate of Wilson High School.
Football statistics include All State Honorable Mention, Kansas Pregame Impact Player, Top 10 QB/WR duo on Kansas, All Class-All District.
Jordan lead in Kansas in steals in basketball and Wilson was Sub-State Runner-ups. He holds the league record in powerlifting.
Hobbies include swimming, dancing and hanging out with friends.
Jordan's parents are Nathaniel and Danielle Fox and he plans to attend college.

Kade Dennis - Thunder Ridge - Kade Dennis, Agra, has been selected to play on the West squad. He is a 2013 graduate of Thunder Ridge High School.
Football honors include 2011: All Conference Center 8 Man; 2012: Topeka Capital Journal All Class 8 Man Team, 1st Team Lineman, All Conference 8 Man Defensive End 1st team 1st pick, All Conference 8 Man Center 1st Team 1st Pick
Thunder Ridge Longhorns were Conference Champions in 2010; had a 13-0 record in 2011 and was 8 Man Division II State Champs; and in 2012 they had an 11-1 record and was State Playoff Runnerup.
Kade lettered in football and track 4 years and basketball 2 years.
He is ammeter of SS Phillips and James Catholic Church and is a volunteer fireman for the Agra Rural Fire Dept.
He enjoys farming, mechanics and hunting. He is a member of FFA and the Thunder Ridge Weightlifting.
Kade is the son of Klye and Lori Dennis and plans to attend NCK Tech College in Ag-Tech in Beloit, then return to work on the family farm.

Dalton Dreiling - Victoria - Dalton Dreiling, Victoria, has been selected to play on the West squad. He is a 2013 graduate of Victoria High School.
Football statistics include: 2010-798 yds rushing, 53 tackles; 2011-1196 yds rushing, 87 tackles; 2012-MCL injury during 1st game. Returned for final 3 games of the season for 259 yds rushing and 27 tackles. avg. 11.2 yds per carry and 9 tackles per game; 182 receiving yds.
Victoria was Regional Champions in 2009; District Runner-Up in 2010; Bi-District Champions and District Runner-Up in 2011; and District Runner-Up in 2012.
In other sports, Dalton was a member of the State Basketball 4th place team in 2011; Sub-State Basketball Runner up in 2012; State Track Participant in 2011 in the 4x400 and 4x100; and was selected 2013 Hoisington Winter Jam All-Tournament Team.
Hobbies and interests include hunting, golf, riding 4-wheelers, going to the lake, and spending time with family and friends.
Activities and honors in school include V-Club member, 4 years; FBLA, Stuco, SADD, FCCLA member 4 years, 2012 Homecoming King Candidate.
Dalton is the son of Joe and Brenda Dreiling and plans to attend Fort Hays State University and pursue a career in Human Health and Performance.

Brandan Escamilla - Weskan - Brandon Escamilla, Weskan, has been selected to play on the West squad. He is a 2013 graduate of Weskan High School.
Football statistics include Honorable Mention Defensive Back in 2011 and First Team All League Defensive Back in 2012. Weskan was league champions in 2012 and qualified for the playoffs.
In other sports, Brandon placed 6th at the State Track meet in the 4x8 and 4x4. He was a member of the basketball team that was league runner up in 2011 and 3rd in 2013.
He is a member of 4-H and CYO and enjoys hunting, fishing and playing video games.
Activities and honors in school include Band, Choir-Honor Choir, Scholar's Bowl, Forensics.
Brandon is the son of Daniel and Annette Escamilla and plans to attend Fort Hays and run track.

Sam Higgason - Otis-Bison - Samuel Higgason, Otis, has been selected to play on the West squad. He is a 2013 graduate of Otis-Bison High School.
Football honors include 2011: Topeka Capital Journal Honorable Mention, CPL 1st Team Center, Kpreps 1st Team Offensive Line All State, All District Offensive Line and Defensive LIne, 1st team. 2012: Topeka Capital Journal Honorable Mention, Hays Daily News 8 man All 1st Team Offensive Line. He had 121 tackles, 8 sacks, 4 caused fumbles and 1 caused safety.
In 2009 Otis-Bison had a 10-1 record and was Regional Runner-up; 2000: 11-1 record, State Runner-Up; 2011: 10-2 record, Sub-State Runner-up; 2012, 9-2 record, Regional Runner-up.
Samuel was also a letter winner in track and placed 2nd overall in the KEMFA powerlifting meet heavy weight class in 2012.
He is a member of CYO and enjoys woodworking, hunting and going to the lake.
Activities and honors in school include National Honor Society, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Scholar's Bowl, Fort Hays State University High School Technology Fair, SADD and STUCO.
Samuel is the son of Scott and Kim Higgason, and plans to attend Fort Hays State University and major in technology studies.

Jordan Irsik - Ingalls - Jordan Irsik, Ingalls , has been selected to play on the Wast squad. He is a 2013 graduate of Ingalls High School.
Jordan has been a 4 year starter on the Ingalls football team, three year captain and scored 50 touchdowns. In 2001 he had 1484 all-purpose yards on 93 touches, 26 touchdowns, 78 tackles, 13 for loss and 1 sack. He was selected KPREPS All District Receiver, 2nd team All-SPIAA receiver.
In 2012, Jordan had 1268 all purpose yards on 131 touches, scoring 20 touchdowns. He had 104 tackles, 7 for loss, 4 interceptions, and 4 forced fumbles. He was selected KPREPS All-State and All District Offensive Back.
He helped turn around one of the worst programs in the state. In 2007, Ingalls had a 2-7 record, 0-9 in 2008, 2-7 in 2009 and 4-5 in 2010. They had back to back winning seasons in 2011 and 2012.
Jordan is a two year letterman in basketball and was voted Most Improved Player in 2010-2011.
Jordan is a member of St. Stanislaus Youth Group and volunteers for Christmas events at Youthville. He enjoys hanging out with friends.
Activities and honors in school include Honor Student, I-Club for 3 years and KAY's Club for 3 years.
He is the son of Brad and Vicki Irsik and plans to play football at Butler Community College.

Joshua Keltz - Cheylin - Joshua Keltz, Bird City, has been selected to play on the West squad. He is a 2013 graduate of Cheylin High School.
Football honors include WKLL All League and All League Honorable Mention. Cheylin reached the state playoffs in 2010 and 2011.
Joshua was selected All League in Basketball, and All-State Honorable Mention in Basketball.
He enjoys fishing, hunting, restoring vehicles and agriculture.
Activities and honors in school include Honor Roll, Band, Choir, FFA, Student Government and Bigs Program.
Joshua is the son of Max and Denise Keltz and plans to attend college and get a degree in agriculture.

Eli Kuhlman - Wallace County - Eli Kuhlman, Sharon Springs, has been selected to play on the West squad. He is a 2013 graduate of Wallace County High School.
In 2011 Eli was an All League 2nd Team Wide Receiver and in 2012 he was Team Captain, All League 1st Team Defensive Back, All League 1st Team Running Back and All League 1st Team Defensive Back.
Wallace County had a record of 10-1 in 2012. They were league champions, district, bi-district and regional champions, and sub-state runner-up.
In other sports, Eli was a WKLL All League Selection and the Team MVP in basketball in 2012; 3 time state golf qualifier and member of the regional championship team, 11th place state finisher in 2012; member of the 2 time team state champion powerlifting team; and participated in track for 1 year. He received a school wide 3 sport award.
Activities and honors outside school in clued CYO/Church choir member, 4-H 12 years, 4-H vice president, 4-H council member, CYO vice president and Big Brothers/Big Sisters.
He enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, spending time with friends and family and watching football.
Activities and honors in school include class office, Stuco president, forensics-2 years, fall play-4 years, Academic Testing Team-1 year and Student Council Member-3 years.
He is the son of John and Missy Kuhlman and plans to attend college and study agriculture.

Ryan Kuhlman - Dighton - Ryan Kuhlman, Dighton, has been selected to play on the West squad. He is a 2013 graduate of Dighton High School.
Ryan was selected all district defensive back, honorable mention district quarterback, all league honorable mention defensive back and football captain in 2012. He was selected all league 2nd team defensive back, all league honorable mention quarterback, district 2nd team defensive back and district 2nd team quarterback.
In other sports he was the basketball captain in 2010, 2011 and 2012; state qualifier in track 4x800 in 2012; WKLL honorable mention, basketball, junior year; and WKLL 1st team sophomore, junior and senior year.
Ryan is a member of Knights of Columbus #3210 and St. Theresa Catholic Church.
He volunteers for Lane County Recreation for youth sports programs and enjoys all sports.
Activities and honors in school include: National Honor Society, Class President-Senior, Class Vice President-Junior, Student Council member, High Honor Roll all 4 years of high school, Quiz Bowl and Electrothon President. He received the Governor's Award of Excellence in Reading, Math and Science.
Ryan's parents are Russel and Diana Kuhlman and he plans to study construction at Manhattan Area Technical College.

Connor Lewis - Weatland-Grinnell - Conner Lewis, Grinnell, has been selected to play on the West squad. He is a 2013 graduate of Wheatland High School.
Football honors include being selected All League First Team, offensive line, defensive line, 2011; and All League First Team, defensive line, 2012.
Connor was a member of the 4x1 relay team that placed 2nd in State Track, 1st in Regional and League Track; and he placed 2nd in the 100m meter dash in league track.
Activities outside school include aviation, other hobbies and interests include hunting, flying, welding, and weight lifting.
Activities and honors in school include StuCo, FCCLA, electric car.
Connor is the son Larri and Treresa Lewis and plans to go into Ag Aviation.

Trevor Lowe - Thunder Ridge - Trevor Lowe, Kirwin has been selected to play on the West squad. He is a 2013 graduate of Thunder Ridge High School.
Football statistics include: 4 year letter winner, 4 year offensive starter, team captain 2012, Hays Daily All area Super 11 Team 2012, K-Preps 8 Man II All District Offensive MVP 2012; All State Running Back 1st team, 2012; 1599 yards rushing in 2012; 976 yards rushing, 2011.
Thunder Ridge was State Runner-Up in 2012 with an 11-2 record; State Champions in 2011 with a 13-0 record; District Champions in 2010, 2011 and 2012; Regional Champions in 2011 and 2012; and Sub-State Champions in 2011 and 2012.
Trevor was a 3 year letter winner in basketball and team captain in 2012-2013. He was a 3 year letter winner in track, placing 4th in the State in 2012 in the 1A javelin.
Activities and honors outside school include: Eagle Scout, Teens for Christ, Member of Troop 166 BSA, member of Kensington United Church, attended TFC Summer Camp the past 5 years, attended the National Boy Scout Jamboree, was a Patrol Leader for a Jamboree Unit, attended Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico, hiked and camped on trail for 10 days, hiking over 100 miles; and is an O.A. member.
Trevor enjoys hiking, playing X-box and sports.

Gavin Mote - Wallace County - Gavin Mote, Sharon Springs, has been selected to play on the West squad. He is a 2013 graduate of Wallace County High School.
In 2012 Gavin completed 63 of 102 passes for 971 yds, 15 TD and 7 INT; rushed 125 times for 858 yards; had 47 tackles and 2 defensive interceptions. He was selected All League for 3 years.
In 2012 Wallace County had a 10-1 record and was sub-state runner-up, League Champs, Regional Champs, Bi-District champs and District Champs.
Gavin was an all league basketball player 3 years and placed at the state track meet 3 years.
He is a member of 4-H and enjoys hanging out with friends and playing sports.
Gavin is a member of Student Council.
His parents are Dennis and Bonnie Mote and he plans to attend college and major in agribusiness.

Phillip Murphy - Natoma - Phillip Murphy, Natoma , has been selected to play on the Wast squad. He is a 2013 graduate of Natoma High School.
Austin played end for the Natoma football team.
He was selected NPL honorable mention for basketball and played in the Sunflower Showdown.
Phillip is a member of the Eager Beavers 4-H Club, Peace Lutheran Youth Group and serves as a Special Olympics basketball referee.
Hobbies and interests include farming and ranching/raising cattle and hogs, sports and hunting.
Activities and honors in school include: Future Farmers of America, Students Against Destructive Decisions, National Honor Society, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He has been an honor student at Natoma.
He is the son of Brad and Jenjer Murphy and plans to attend Colby Community College and farm.

Brogan Naylor - Sylvan-Lucas - Brogan Naylor, Lucas, has been selected to play on the West squad. He is a 2013 graduate of Sylvan-Lucas Unified High School.
Football honors include being selected All League in 2012.
He lettered in basketball 4 years, baseball 4 years and football 4 years.
Brogan is a member of Kansas HIgh School Rodeo Association, Central Plains Rodeo Association and Kansas Professional Rodeo Association. He enjoys hunting, fishing, spending time with friends and going to rodeos.
Activities in school include FCA and forensics.
Brogan is the son of Devon and Kandi Walter and Craig and Aimee Naylor and plans to attend Pratt Community College, major in Farm and Ranch Management and participate in college rodeo.

Eriq Perez - Beloit-St. John's - Eriq Perez, Beloit, has been selected to play on the West squad. He is a 2013 graduate of St. John's Catholic High School.
Football statistics include: 325 carries for 1276 yards, 3 TDs; caught 90 passes for 1288 yds and 18 TDs; returned 30 kicks for 564 yards and 2 TDs; returned 6 punts for 39 yards; had 5 interceptions; 153 total tackles. He made 33 touchdowns and 10 conversions for 198 points. Eriq recovered 3 fumbles for 50 yards.
St. John's/Tipton was district, bi-district, and regional champs, sub-state runner-up and PTL champs in 2009. They were bi-district champ and district runner up in 2012.
In other sports, Eriq was selected All-League Honorable Mention in basketball in 2012; lettered in basketball 3 years and lettered in track 3 years.
He is a Conquest group leader and enjoys working on his car, playing football and basketball with his little twin brothers.
Activities and honors in school include SADD, Stuco, NHS, Bronze Service Award-2009-2010; Silver Service Award, 2010, 2011, 2012; and Silver Service Award, 2012-2013.
Eriq's parents are Tony and Stacy Perez and he plans to attend Kansas Wesleyan University, play football and get a degree in criminology.

Lane Perry - Wallace County - Lane Perry, Sharon Springs, has been selected to play on the West squad. He is a 2013 graduate of Wallace County High School.
Football honors include All League Linebacker and Offensive Line-1st Team. He lettered 3 years in football. In 2012 Wallace County finished 10-1 and was Sub-State Runner-Up, regional and bi-district Champions.
In other sports, Lane lettered in track and basketball 1 year; lettered in powerlifting 2 years; in 2012 was 1A State Champion 181 pound Division in Squat, then was the 2nd place powerlifter overall in state.
Activities and honors outside school include: 2010: Kansas State 4-H Sweepstakes Champion, Livestock Judging Team at the American Royal, placing 10th. 2011: Kansas State 4-H Sweepstakes Reserve Champions; 2012- Kansas State 4-H Livestock Judging Team champion. He has been a member of 4-H for 12 years, having numerous livestock and other project championships, most recently 2011 and 2012 Wallace Co. Fair market lamb champion, 2011 and 2012 chamion senior sheep showman and 2011 reserve champion sheep showman at the Tri-State Royal and 2012 Naitinal Livestock judging team in Louisville, Kentucky.
He enjoys showing horses, cattle, sheep and hogs; helping on the family ranch operation, participating in Ranch Rodeo competitions and AI cattle. He also loves to travel with judging teams and spend time with friends and family. He is a member of CYO and has been in Teen Leadership for 8 years, on 4-H Council 5 years and a club officer in 4-H, most recently secretary.
Lane has been an honor student, teacher's aide, participated in public speaking and was named Powerlifter of the Year.
He is the son of Heath and Lynn Perry and plans to become a livestock appraiser and work on the family ranch and continue to AI cattle.

Ruben Razo - Cheylin - Ruben Razo, Bird City, has been selected to play on the West squad. He is a 2013 graduate of Cheylin High School.
Football honors include being selected Most Valuable Player for Offense and Defense.
Ruben was a member of the Golf Team that went to state in 2012.
Activities outside school include cleaning St. Joseph Catholic Church Grounds, Youth Football Camp, Food Bank, Construction for Community Building and Spirit Camp.
He has worked construction and for McCarty Dairy in the summer.
School activities and honors include: All School Musical, Choir, Trombone Solo, Senior Class Vice President, Translator-English to Spanish.
Ruben's parents are Cipriano Gutierrez and Lilia Chaparro. He plans to attend college and become a vet tech.

Nick Smith - Weskan - Nick Smith, Sharon Springs, has been selected to play on the West squad. He is a 2013 graduate of Weskan High School.
Football honors include selected League First Team Defense and Offense, 4-Year Letterman, Academic All-League Team. Weskan reached the 1st round of the playoffs and was league co-champs.
Honors and accomplishments in other sports include being named WKLL All-League Academic Team and he lettered in Football, Basketball and Track.
Nick is a member of Youth Group (high school leader for junior high), and is a Little League Assistant Baseball Coach.
He enjoys sketching and computer programming.
Honors and activities in school include: State Forensics 2012-4th Prose, State Music Festival 2010-Vocal Solo-I, Trombone Solo-I; State Scholars Bowl, WKLL Scholarship Testing, 3rd Overall,1st-Math; NHS, Student Government Vice President.
Nick is the son of Ray and Lauri Smith and plans to attend Fort Hays State University and major in agribusiness.

Dylan Wissman - Otis-Bison - Dylan Wissman, Albert, has been selected to play on the West squad. He is a 2013 graduate of Otis-Bison High School.
Football honors include 2012 Hays Daily News Offensive Player of the Year; CPL 1st Team Offense. Otis-Bison was Bi-District Runner up in 2009 and 2012; sub-state Runnerup in 2011 and State Runner-up in 2010.
In other sports, Dylan was a member of the 2012 State Runner Up and 211 Third Place state basketball team and was selected 1st Team CPL. He is a 4 year letterman in football and basketball and 3 year letterman in track.
He is a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church.
