Obituary of Eleanor E. Klabzuba
Eleanor Elizabeth Klabzuba, the daughter of Wesley G. Klabzuba and Frances (Havel) Klabzuba, was born February 11, 1932 in Belleville, KS and passed away on June 4, 2013 at the Belleville Health Care Center, Belleville, KS at the age of 81 years, 3 months, and 21 days.
Eleanor grew up in the Belleville area, attending Spring Hill Grade School and graduating from Belleville High School. After her graduation, she moved to Omaha, NE where she was a bank teller for several years. She later moved back to Belleville, KS and worked over 20 years at the Port of Entry near Belleville until her retirement.
Eleanor was a member of the Red Hat Society, the ZCBJ Lodge for many years, and was a supporter of high school activities and fundraisers. She enjoyed young people, and animals.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Leon Klabzuba and a sister-in-law, Linda Klabzuba.
Eleanor is survived by one brother, Marlin Klabzuba of Wichita, KS, three nephews, Brian Klabzuba, Douglas Klabzuba and Duane Klabzuba, and one niece Denise Klabzuba; a special friend: Isabelle Gray, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, June 7, 2013 at the Bachelor-Surber Memorial Chapel, with Pastor Mark Imel, officiating.
Interment will be at the Belleville Cemetery, Belleville,KS.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 9:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday.
