Mary Hanna Horner, the daughter of Marshall Horner and Meshelle Holcomb, was born May 18, 2005 at Sherman, Texas and passed away on
August 10, 2013 at Scandia, KS at the age of 8 years, 2 months, and 22 days.
Mary Hanna moved with her family when she was 2 years old to Scandia, KS. She attended Pike Valley Grade School, Courtland, KS where she was to enter the second grade. She went to Leah Hammer's Day Care and also Wednesday School at the United Methodist Church, Scandia, KS. She also attended the mini cheer camp at Scandia and just had performed at the Scandia Riverfest. Mary Hanna enjoyed the outdoors. The family had recently moved to Belleville, KS
Mary Hanna is survived by her parents Marshall Horner and Meshelle Holcomb of Belleville, KS, one sister Allie Horner and one brother Aaron Gage Horner both of the home at Belleville, KS; other relatives and many friends.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at the Riverview Cemetery, Scandia, KS with Pastor Kathy Aeillo, officiating.
Interment will follow the services.
Visitation will be from 4 PM until 9 PM on Tuesday at the Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, Belleville, KS.
