The LAW OFFICE OF SCOTT D. WRIGHT, LLC
Scott D. Wright announced that he is joining his colleagues at WealthCounsel in a public relations campaign to showcase National Estate Planning Awareness Week, October 21-27, 2013.
According to a 2011 industry trends survey of estate planners conducted by WealthCounsel, one of the most common reasons clients engage in estate planning is to spare their family members and heirs the chaos and conflict that often occurs after their death. Another common reason that consumers engage in planning is to protect their children from mismanaging their inheritance, or to shield their children's inheritance from creditors.
Wright noted that estate planning is one of the most overlooked areas of personal financial management. More than 120 million Americans do not have proper estate plans to protect themselves or their families in the event of sickness, accidents, or untimely death. This costs many families wasted dollars and unnecessary hardship that can be minimized with proper planning.
Established in 2013, THE LAW OFFICE OF SCOTT D. WRIGHT, LLC, located at 108 E. Main Street in Beloit, Kansas, works in all areas of estate planning, including asset protection, charitable planning, business succession planning, and estate planning for farm families. For more information, please visit our website at www.scottwrightlaw.com or call (785) 738-2363.

Becker Autos & Trailers to Donate a Portion of All Sales to Local Relay for Life in October
In honor of breast cancer awareness month, throughout October Becker Autos and Trailers will be donating money from each vehicle and each trailer sale to the local Relay for Life.
"We were first contacted by Mitchell and Osborne County Relay for Life directors, Jessica Brummer and Christie Fouts with the idea of donating during October, and thought it would be a great way to help raise money" said Lydia Housh, manager of Becker Autos & Trailers in Beloit.  "In our family, we have seen my young cousin go through chemo and radiation just last year; just this Sunday, I heard news of a past co-worker of only 36 years of age passing away from complications of Breast Cancer after struggling with it for over 4 years.  Those are just a couple of recent examples of how cancer can affect anyone.  Everyone has been affected by cancer in some way."
For every vehicle or trailer purchase from Becker Autos & Trailers in Downs and Beloit in October a donation will be made to the Mitchell and Osborne County Relay for Life which will be held Saturday, June 7th 2014 at the Mitchell County Fairgrounds.  All money raised for the Mitchell and Osborne County Relay for Life stays in our area to help with those affected by cancer in our counties.  For questions or more information please contact Lydia Housh at 785-534-1227 or stop by the Beloit Becker Autos & Trailers location.  Find out more about Becker Autos & Trailers and look at their inventory online at beckerautos.com.
