In the "Growing Your Food" photo category, Logan Hays from Clay Center won first place with his "Colorful Sunset" photo. Jo Herian from Glasco won second place with her "Twilight" photo.

Farmway held the "A Day in Ag" photo contest in celebration of October-National Coop Month. The contest challenged anyone with a passion for photography to capture an image of life in Kansas agriculture. In response, Farmway received more than 120 submissions portraying a wide range of agriculture life. Photographers could submit photos for the "Faces of Kansas" category or the "Growing Your Food" category.

Photos were judged on quality, creativity and relevance to agriculture in Kansas. First place in each category received a $100 Visa Gift card. Second place in each category received a $50 Visa Gift Card.

"Thank you to all who submitted their images of Kansas agriculture," said Mallory Wittstruck, Farmway communications director. "It is because of the farmers and ranchers that energize our state through their hard work, dedication and goodwill that makes our cooperative proud to serve the agriculture industry."
